Welcome to Prarthana Ka Ghar

It is the only South Asian church in the Hamilton region. Our church is a vibrant community where faith and cultural heritage come together. We offer services in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, reflecting the diversity of our congregation. Whether from a South Asian background or a local Canadian, you will find a warm and welcoming environment here. “PRARTHANA KA GHAR” is a ministry of Paramount Alliance Church and a new venture of the Alliance Canada, dedicated to prayer and worship.

How it all started...

“Prarthana Ka Ghar” began as a small house fellowship near the end of 2019. In early 2020, the spread of Covid-19 temporarily paused our in-person gatherings. Recognizing the importance of continued fellowship, we transitioned to online meetings. By the end of 2020, we were able to rent a space, and since then, we have been meeting at 105 King Street East, Stoney Creek. We hold our Sunday Service every Sunday at 3 PM and gather on Thursdays at 7 PM. Though our congregation consists of only a few families, the Lord continues to add to our number. Over the years, our church has grown, welcoming members from various backgrounds and fostering a sense of belonging and unity. Significant milestones in our journey include the establishment of various ministries, community outreach programs, and cultural events that celebrate our heritage.

At Prathanakaghar, our mission is to spread the love of Christ while honoring and celebrating our South Asian heritage. We aim to build a supportive and inclusive community where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and connected. By embracing cultural diversity and promoting understanding, we strive to be a beacon of hope and faith that bridges cultural gaps and serves all who seek spiritual growth.

Our vision is to create a vibrant church where unity in diversity is celebrated and where each member finds purpose and belonging. We aspire to foster a nurturing environment that reflects our commitment to both Christian values and cultural traditions, ultimately leading to a stronger, more connected community.
